How do you find out about Kid Pageants & Do you know of any good books or sites for learning the ins and outs?
Im curious about putting my 2 year old in pageants next year (when she is three) and was wondering how to go about educating myself on pageants AND how to find out about upcoming pageants.

How about you educate yourself on the cons of child pageants? Haven’t you ever watched toddlers and tiaras? Why would you want to put your children through such bullshit?
There are several pageant lines out there. I advise that you stay away from the glamor and glitz ones and stick to the no make-up ones that are more based on talent, personality etc. Usually you can find ones that are a part of the Miss USA scholarship program. They offer small scholarships and are a part of the fund raising for the Miss USA pageant.
Just try searching for your state name and Miss USA scholarship.
