
If Prop 8 had been voted down, why would kids learning about gay marriage be a problem?
And any answer along the lines of "It's disgusting" or "They shouldn't learn that stuff" will be considered homophobic in my book. Who cares that Johnny and Lucy now knows that Bob and Ted can love each other legally? Seeing the state of schools today, we're lucky they'll be learning something at all!

If people really wanted to “protect the sanctity of marriage” then they would have campaigned against divorce, not against two people who love each other and are already cohabiting from getting legal recognition of their relationship.
